Hot Redhead Media is pleased to launch our newest podcast series Booktails on July 15th, with an electric reading and conversation with acclaimed author Amber Sparks, who is reading from her newest book And I Do Not Forgive You: Stories and Other Revenges.


Co-hosts Heather Fowler and Reine Dugas host this monthly series intended to give introverts the chance to hear talented literary authors talk and about and read from their work while listening from the comfort of their own couch, pants optional, with a beverage in hand.


Here is the cocktail Reine has created in the spirit of not forgiving anyone (anything) and maybe feeling just fine about that, so you now have two weeks to get the ingredients and prepare for when the podcast drops on the evening of July 15th.

And now...


The delicious Sour Vengeance  


2 ounces bourbon

1/2 ounce grapefruit

1/2 ounce lime

3/4 ounce simple syrup

Cherry for garnish

3 drops of maraschino liquid/food coloring/blood for color


Instructions:

Combine bourbon, citrus juices, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake with satisfied fury for about 20 seconds. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a cherry—the most expensive, delicious one you can get…  Add a few drops of red justice to the mix, just because. Enjoy vengefully.
